Attend a Parent Orientation

Our objective is to impart an education that nurtures the three essential facilities of humankind, mainly - Head (intellect), Heart (feelings) and Hands (deeds) making all learning meaningful. We, at The Golden Spiral work closely with the educational principles laid down by Dr. Rudolf Steiner who was the founder of Steiner/Waldorf Education.

 The Orientation Session will entail:

·  Essentials of Waldorf/Steiner Education

·  A peek into Waldorf Pedagogy 

·  A brief on The Golden Spiral and its current organization

 

Details for the In Person Orientation Session: 

Day and Date: Orientations occur monthly. Once you inquire about an orientation via email then the orientation date will be shared with you.

Timing: 9.00 am to 12.00 pm

 Venue: The Golden Spiral School, Cenzer House, 2R2X+M4V, G D Ambekar Rd, Wageshvari Nagar, Parmanand Wadi, Parel, Mumbai, Maharashtra, 400012, India

Step 2: Attending the Orientation Session

 In order to initiate the admission procedure, it is a prerequisite that both parents have attended the Orientation. The admission form will be processed only when this criterion is met. 

Individuals attending the Orientation must note that:

  • The session will be conducted in a room with floor seating. Limited chairs will be available. These will be reserved for persons who for medical reasons are prohibited to sit on the floor.’

  • The school does not have provisions for parking, hence please ensure you have made appropriate arrangements for the same.

  • We reckon that you reach the venue by 8.45 am to complete the attendance formality. 

  •  The Orientation session will promptly begin at 9:00 am. We do not encourage entries after 9.20 am and you may be requested to register for the next orientation.

  • Friends / extended family members who wish to attend must register for the same separately.

  • In case you are a Consultation Firm/Group of Educators do mention the same in the form

  • The Admission Application Form will be available at the premise and you may purchase the same after the orientation has concluded. The price of the same is Rs 500/

  • These sessions are for adults only. 

Step 3: Collection of the Admission Form from school

  • The Admission forms will be available for sale after the orientation session has ended. The admission forms along with the necessary documents are required to be filled and submitted within the stipulated time mentioned at the time of taking the form.

Please Note:

  • We are currently only open to Start of Academic Year (June 2024) Admissions for Pre-Primary (Playgroup, Nursery, Junior Kg and Senior Kg) and up through Grade 7. If your child is Grade 8+ please email admissions@goldenspiral.org.in directly.

  • Registrations for the above applications will be confirmed on a first come first served basis and you will receive an email with a confirmation.

  • For Playgroup, your child needs to be 2.3 (age) by May 2024 for a June 2024 start date.
